Albert An: Asian YouTuber Providing Advise on quitting PMO.

There is a small community in the YouTube space that's dedicated to helping guys quit PMO. Just in case you don't know, PMO means Porn, Masturbation, and Orgasm. One YouTuber that's been helping guys in this community for a while now is Albert An.

Here's a video link of Albert answering a few questions his fans asked:

Previously, I noted a few YouTubers that are already dedicated in giving advise on quitting PMO: BlackWhiteGuyinAmerica (http://jedboyblogs.blogspot.com/2014/08/black-white-guy-in-america-helping-men.html) and nofap academy (http://jedboyblogs.blogspot.com/2014/07/nofap-academy-your-guide-to-quitting.html.) Now it maybe repetitive because I'm writing about another YouTuber who pretty much does the same thing but Albert An deserves to be written in my blog spotlight. Just like black white guyinamerica and nofap academy, Albert An has his own unique way in helping others quit PMO.

Strategize:

Firstly, Albert gets into detail, step by step, on how to change and strategize ways to accomplish one's nofap journey successfully. Some videos he'll advise to avoid sleeping at night because from his experience, that would be around the time he would slip. Some of his strategies are practices he's come up with to maintain his success of no PMO and/or he's read these strategies from motivational books he recommends reading from time to time.

Funny:

In some of the endings of his videos (and sometimes in the middle as well), you can catch Albert openly joking around the struggles we all face in quitting PMO. He includes himself on the joke not in a demeaning manner but in a way that's inspiring for him and all of us in that we can accomplish anything despite the obstacles. Dealing with any kind of problem is energy draining already. It helps that people like Albert An can throw a few funny jokes that can help lighten the mood for those solving the issue and in this case: quitting PMO.

Asian:

What makes Albert unique in this community is that he's Asian respectively. There's a lot of Asians in the YouTube space. However, not too many in the Asian community covers the topic of PMO openly. The possible cultural reasons behind it is beyond the focus of this post. The point of mentioning that he's Asian is that other Asian guys, especially those around his age, will be able to relate to him and find some comfort to seek out help with their addiction of PMO. And since there's a lot of Asians that watch YouTube; that's a lot of people Albert can influence positively. This doesn't come to say that dudes of other ethnicities won't benefit from his channel. All can find a positive gateway in overcoming PMO from his videos.

Past Experiences:

Albert has not only shared his advise on quitting PMO, but also his past experiences in how he became a positive influence on people. The following link shows Albert sharing his experience as a foreign student in California, United States. He was determined to achieve great academic success until he began a negative habit of drinking alcohol daily with his roommate. One day, Albert reached rock bottom and told himself he wants to change from a constant drinker to a studious student he aspired to be. Watch the video to see how Albert overcame his obstacle and changed for the better.
