I posted a couple a weeks ago about a channel dedicated to providing tips and strategies to quitting PMO(Porn, Masturbation, Orgasm)/fap to their audience: NoFap Academy. NoFap Academy provided their information as if they were a teacher while their audience was their students. I'm not saying that this is not a bad thing. But I'm sure there are some viewers who would like to see a You-tuber undergo the "no fap" process along with them at the same time.
You-tuber, Black-White-Guy-In-America (BWGIA) posts videos weekly of his progress of quitting PMO/no fap. A majority of his posts are titled of how long it has been since he had done PMO. Like NoFap Academy, BWGIA also provides tips and strategies that he used to maintain quitting PMO/no fap. BWGIA states what he's been doing to replace his addiction. Sharing his current activities (ex. working out) and his results from those activities (ex. muscles getting more ripped) really add value that he "walks the talk." This in turn gives viewers trust and faith that they to can quit PMO/fap as well.
An Ordinary Cool Dude
One criteria that I feel that makes BWGIA stands out from You-tubers that speak of PMO/no fap is that he's an ordinary cool dude. Respectively, I feel that most "no fap" You-tubers carry some sort of weird personality. BWGIA respectively seems to be that guy who's popular, social, and an overall chill dude. The irony of my opinion is that BWGIA has mentioned that he suffered some form of social anxiety while addicted to PMO.
BWGIA's cool vibe can help attract others who have the same personality and addiction issue like him. Not everyone who has a PMO/fapping problem are weird guys. Some are also ordinary dudes who you would never suspect due to their personality and social life. Attracting these types of guys can bring comfort for them when using BWGIA as a source of help they need to quit PMO/fapping.
Being A Man About Life
BWGIA mentions about being a man about life a couple of times in his videos each with a different perspective. One perspective had to deal with BWGIA talking about a You-tuber who was crying about how PMO ruined his life and he doesn't know what to do. BWGIA advised that You-tuber and others like him that you need "man up" and take the necessary steps required to quit the addiction. He was straight forward but in a comforting cool way.
Another perspective was when he gave his sincere respect to his viewers for commenting, sharing, and admitting their struggles of quitting PMO. He told his audiences in one of his videos that it takes a man to share and admit one's addiction especially something that is embarrassing as PMO. His empowerment for others is what makes it comfortable and safe for his viewers to rely on for receiving advice.
Anthony Robbins' Book
BWGIA will repeatedly suggest reading a book that he felt helped him overcome PMO and overall move on with his life. That book is called "Awaken The Giant Within" by Anthony Robbins. BWGIA admits that he is not getting paid for promoting the book. He highly suggests it to his viewers because for the purpose for them bettering their lives after reading it.
Traffic And Activity
So far, BWGIA has about 355 subscribers. His daily traffic ranges from about 1000-4560 viewers per video. As mentioned earlier, he posts videos weekly. I highly recommend you check him out and share his videos to anyone you know who might benefit from his channel.
